Heads-up, Zooza community — this is not just another update (Update 3.6). It’s a whole new way of thinking about how you manage your classes, clients, and data. And while the change is designed to make your life easier (promise!), we want to give you a friendly nudge before the release drops in early June.
Let’s break it down 👇
Why This Update Matters
We’ve been listening. Watching. Learning (don’t worry, not in a creepy way). And it’s clear: the way you work inside Zooza has evolved.
So this release? It’s us catching up — and leaping forward. We’re reshaping parts of Zooza that were designed for setup… not for scale. Time to fix that.
And yes, some habits will change. But we’re keeping the good stuff, upgrading the rest, and making it all far more intuitive.
What’s Changing (and Why It’s a Good Thing)
1. Your Dashboard Is Getting Smarter — and More Useful
We’re giving the dashboard a proper promotion.
- Unread messages? Boom — right there.
- We’ve added more details into waiting lists, late registrations and more recent registration
Oh, and reports? They’re moving to their own proper section. Because they deserve it. (More on that in a second.)
2. Course View: Settings Take a Backseat
Settings are still there, but let’s be honest — you don’t change them every day. What you do need daily is clarity.
So we’re flipping the script:
- When clicking on course title, instead of going to Course’s settings you’ll be taken to its performance dashboard and class overview.
- Settings will be still accessible on single click by clicking on cog wheel.
This change is especially helpful for those managing multiple classes or instructors. Less digging, more doing.
3. Clients Will Finally Look Like… Real People
We’re introducing Personas — aka the parent + child structure that finally reflects real-life families.
✅ Parents can now manage multiple children under one profile.
✅ Update shared contact info once — it applies everywhere.
✅ No more duplicate data entry. Ever.
This lays the groundwork for better personalisation, easier follow-ups, and much smoother upsells in the future.
Welcome to the PRO Zone
This isn’t just an upgrade. It’s a mindset.
The PRO Zone is built for professionals — for brands and providers who run their business with structure, strategy, and a clear eye on growth.
Whether you’re managing multiple locations, leading a franchise network, or simply operating at a higher level, these tools were designed for you.
From AI-powered automation to corporate-grade reporting and deep system integrations, the PRO Zone gives you what standard tools can’t: clarity, control, and serious scalability.
Reports: From Gut Feeling to Data-Led Decisions (PRO Upgrade)
We’re doubling down on reporting.
Nick’s Dashboard: Lessons from a Global Franchise Legend
We asked ourselves: What would a former COO of a children’s franchise in 40+ countries do?
So we asked Nick — and he told us. The new dashboard will start reflecting what franchise pros track day in and day out.
This is just phase one, but it sets the stage for serious business intelligence built right into Zooza.
2. AI-Powered Communication: Your Inner Copywriter, Now on Autopilot (PRO Upgrade)
Say hello to Zooza’s first AI Assistant for writing.
Need a message for new parents? Late payment reminder? Re-enrolment nudge? Just ask. Zooza will write it for you — using your style, your data, and even your past messaging history.
Dynamic tags are handled for you, so no more wondering, “Was it {child_name} or [Child.FirstName]?”
It’s not just clever. It’s time-saving genius. 🧠💬
Note: Due to infrastructure demands, this will be part of our professional-grade toolkit — more details soon.
3. Retention Tools: Because Losing Clients Is So Last Season (PRO Upgrade)
Retaining clients shouldn’t feel like reinventing the wheel every semester.
We’re introducing new retention automations:
- Auto-suggest next steps for each child
- Reminders to rebook
- Carry over preferences or groups
- Reuse structures — with minimal effort
The goal: make continuity a no-brainer, not a spreadsheet nightmare.
🔒 What is the PRO Upgrade?
Some features simply go beyond the basics.
They require more infrastructure, deeper integrations, and they deliver a level of control and insight that transforms how you run your business. These tools are part of what we call the PRO Upgrade – a suite designed for users who approach their operations with a corporate mindset.
Whether it’s network-level reporting, AI-assisted automation, or direct connectors to platforms like Power BI and Mailchimp, these aren’t “nice-to-haves.” They’re for providers who are scaling, optimising, and ready to lead.
We’ve decided to separate these features from the core offering – not because we want to create walls, but because they come with both cost and opportunity. They require a bit more… and deliver a lot more, if you’re ready.
👉 The good news?
You can explore them freely until the end of September.
No limits. No pressure. Just insight – and maybe a glimpse of what’s next for your business.
We’d love to hear what you think. 🚀
When Is It All Going Live?
We’re aiming for the first half of June. We’ll confirm the exact date soon — and yes, we’ll walk you through it all in a dedicated webinar (especially for the retention updates — they’re juicy 🍑).
Why We’re Doing This
This isn’t change for the sake of change.
We’ve studied how you work. We’ve prioritised what you said was most valuable. And we’re now building Zooza not just for setup — but for scale, retention, automation, and next-level insights.
We’re endlessly grateful for your feedback, your ideas, and your honesty. You’re helping shape the future of how children’s activity businesses operate.
So let’s get ready — together — for the next chapter.

🙌 Final Word
This is a bold step. But it’s the right one — because growth isn’t just about adding features. It’s about removing friction, revealing insights, and helping you do more with what you already have.
Ready? Let’s go.
