User data deletion
Instructions for deleting data Zooza received from Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
Zooza s. r. o. (“Zooza”) operates a booking and client-management platform for activity businesses. A business that uses Zooza can connect its Facebook Page so that leads from Meta Lead Ads (instant forms on Facebook and Instagram) arrive in Zooza automatically. This page explains what Zooza receives from Meta, who controls it, and how to have it deleted. It is the data-deletion instructions page for the Zooza app on the Meta platform.
1. What Zooza receives from Meta
When a business connects its Facebook Page, Zooza stores:
- Access tokens issued by Meta for the connected Page(s). They are stored encrypted and used only to subscribe to lead notifications and to read leads.
- The Page’s ID and name, the connected Meta business ID, and the list of permissions the business granted.
- The Page’s lead forms: form ID, name, questions and consent checkboxes.
When a person submits a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Zooza receives:
- The answers entered into the form — typically name, email address and phone number, plus any custom questions the business added — the consent boxes ticked, the time of submission, and the identifiers of the form, ad and campaign the lead came from.
Zooza does not receive or store the person’s Facebook profile, friends list or any data beyond what was entered into the form.
2. Who controls the data
- The business that connected its Page and runs the ads is the data controller for the leads it collects. Zooza processes those leads on the business’s behalf as its data processor, under our Terms of personal data processing.
- Zooza is the data controller for the connection itself — the tokens and Page details of the business that connected.
3. If you are a business that connected a Facebook Page
To disconnect Meta and delete the connection data:
- In Zooza, go to Settings → Integrations → Meta and choose Disconnect. Zooza unsubscribes the Page from lead notifications and deletes the stored access tokens immediately. The connection is marked as revoked.
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find Zooza and remove it. This revokes every permission granted to Zooza on Meta’s side.
Leads that already arrived stay in your Contacts after a disconnect — they are enquiries from your prospective clients and Zooza does not delete them on its own. To delete a lead, delete the contact in Zooza (Clients → Contacts); this permanently removes the contact together with its submissions, form answers and activity history. To have your whole Zooza account and all of its data deleted, email support@zooza.online from the account owner’s address with the subject “Data deletion request”.
4. If you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram
Contact the business whose ad you responded to — it controls your data and can delete it in Zooza in a few clicks.
If you prefer, or if you cannot reach the business, email support@zooza.online with the subject “Data deletion request” and tell us the email address or phone number you used in the form and, if you remember it, the name of the business or the ad. We will locate the record, pass your request to the business as its processor, and confirm to you once the data is deleted.
5. Timeline and confirmation
We handle every request without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days of receiving it, as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR. You will receive a confirmation by email at the address you wrote from once the data is deleted — or an explanation if a request cannot be fulfilled in full.
6. What is deleted automatically
- Access tokens are deleted the moment a connection is disconnected or revoked.
- Technical records of lead notifications (identifiers only — they contain no personal data) are deleted 90 days after the lead was processed.
- Submissions a business marked as spam are deleted 30 days after being marked.
7. What we may keep
If you are a Zooza customer, we keep accounting documents (invoices and related billing details) for 10 years as required by accounting law, and contract records for 5 years after the contract ends for the purpose of legal claims, as described in our Privacy Policy. Lead data received from Meta is not subject to either retention period and is deleted in full.
